Ik kan haar niet voorbij lopen zonder haar aan te raken. Ze brengt mijn fantasie op hol.
Zonder haar was ik misschien voetballer of crimineel geworden. Je weet het niet...
Maar één ding weet ik wel:

Harry Sacksioni
LOVE OF MY LIFE is de titel van Harry Sacksioni’s nieuwste CD. Het album omvat veertien nummers – waarvan acht solo, en zes samen met een viertal muzikanten – waarmee Harry een indrukwekkende ode aan het instrument afgeeft dat hem zoveel heeft gebracht: de gitaar. Alle composities zijn door hemzelf geschreven, op het iconische In The Mood na. Harry blijkt in staat dit orkestnummer op virtuoze wijze uit één gitaar te kunnen toveren.
De muzikanten die hij voor dit album heeft uitgenodigd behoren tot de top van de Nederlandse muziekwereld: Charles Nagtzaam op bas (o.a. Frank Boeijen), Maarten Molema op drums (o.a. Stones vs Beatles Battle), Sven Figee op Hammond orgel (o.a. Matthijs Gaat Door) en Martin Verdonk op percussie (speelt met vele grote muzikanten).
Alle eigen composities zijn nieuw (op Wildfire/Lopend Vuur na) en een aantal ervan heeft Harry de afgelopen twee seizoenen soms al wel tijdens zijn solo optredens gespeeld.
In het bijbehorende cd-boekje schrijft Harry bij alle nummers zijn motivatie en waarom hij het desbetreffende nummer heeft geschreven. Tevens staat in het cd-boekje ook bij ieder nummer welke gitaar hij bespeelt.
De Nederlandse solotournee LOVE OF MY LIFE vindt plaats van februari t/m mei 2026.

Harry Sacksioni
LOVE OF MY LIFE is the title of Harry Sacksioni’s latest CD. The album comprises fourteen tracks—eight solo pieces and six recorded together with four musicians—in which Harry delivers an impressive ode to the instrument that has given him so much: the guitar. All compositions were written by Harry himself, with the exception of the iconic In the Mood. Harry proves that he is able to conjure this orchestral piece virtuously from a single guitar.
The musicians he invited for this album belong to the top tier of the Dutch music scene: Charles Nagtzaam on bass (who played among others with Frank Boeijen), Maarten Molema on drums (who played in the Stones vs Beatles Battle), Sven Figee on Hammond organ (known from Matthijs Gaat Door), and Martin Verdonk on percussion (who plays with many major artists).
All original compositions are new (with the exception of Wildfire / Lopend Vuur), and Harry has already occasionally performed a number of them during his solo shows over the past two seasons.
In the accompanying CD booklet, Harry writes about his motivation for each track and why he composed it. The booklet also specifies which guitar he plays on each song.
The Dutch solo tour LOVE OF MY LIFE runs from February through May, 2026.
