Once Upon a Time... (2017)

Na het bijwonen van een imponerend live optreden van de grote filmcomponist Ennio Morricone, sloeg de vonk bij Harry Sacksioni over en werd filmmuziek zijn nieuwe uitdaging. Hoofdthema’s uit o.a. Once Upon a Time in the West, The Pink Panther, The West Side story en The Sting, en muziek van televisieseries als The Muppetshow, Belle et Sebastien en de tekenfilm Watership Down (Bright Eyes) krijgen op deze cd een bijzondere ‘Sacksioni aanpak’. Ook maakt hij ruim baan voor de muziek die hij zelf onder verschillende TV reclamefilms speelt, waaronder het wonderschone Vincent (Don McLean) en Daydream Believer (The Monkeys).

After attending an impressive live performance by the great film composer Ennio Morricone, the spark ignited for Harry Sacksioni and film music became his new challenge. Main themes from, among others, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Pink Panther, West Side Story, and The Sting, as well as music from television series such as The Muppet Show, Belle et Sébastien, and the animated film Watership Down (Bright Eyes), receive a distinctive “Sacksioni approach” on this CD. He also gives ample space to music he himself performs for various TV commercials, including the breathtakingly beautiful Vincent (Don McLean) and Daydream Believer (The Monkees).
